Waterborne Epoxy Zinc-Rich Primer

BNW-260AB
The product has high impact resistance, strong adhesion, excellent acid and alkali resistance, cleaning agent resistance, excellent wear resistance. Good construction performance, not easy to bubble and sag. It should be used with the bottom and middle surface. It is suitable for weather-resistant coatings for containers, chemical equipment, storage tanks, locomotives or cars
Product introduction: This product is a two-component product. Group A consists of water-based epoxy resin or emulsion, pigments and additives, and Group B consists of water-based epoxy curing agent and zinc powder, which are the main varieties of water-based heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings.
Product characteristics: The coating dries quickly, has good adhesion, high hardness, good salt spray resistance and anti-rust performance, and long service life.
Application areas: It is suitable for metal primers in various heavy-duty anti-corrosion fields, such as bridge steel structures, chemical storage tanks, underground pipelines, transmission towers, mechanical equipment, etc. It can also be used as a workshop primer. It is used in conjunction with water-based epoxy micaceous iron intermediate paint and water-based polyurethane topcoat.
Instructions for use:
1. Substrate treatment: Sandblast or shot blast to remove rust to Sa2.5 level, roughness 25~70μm, to enhance the adhesion of the coating to the base plate.
2. Paint mixing ratio: main agent: curing agent = 3:1 (volume ratio).
3. Diluent: water.
4. Coating method: air spray, airless spray, brush, roller Easy to roll Viscosity: 40-55s Dilution: 0-10% (volume ratio)
5. Construction conditions: Temperature: minimum 5℃ Humidity: maximum 85%
6. Drying time: Ventilation conditions, temperature, humidity, film thickness, number of coats, etc. will affect the drying time accordingly. The typical data are listed in the table below Basic conditions: good ventilation, typical film thickness, single coat of inert substrate 40-55μm.
